Jumpers Hole Mall

Jumpers Mall was an enclosed shopping mall located in Pasadena, Maryland, on Maryland Route 2 (Ritchie Hwy) and Jumpers Hole Road. It was demalled in the 1980s and was transformed into Pasadena Crossroads.

History

Jumpers Mall opened in 1973. It was a mini-mall with around 30 stores and was the location of the first Mama Ilardo's Pizzeria and Pollock Johnny's Hotdogs.[1] A fountain could be found in the center court, which is now occupied by Gardiner's Furniture.[2] The enclosed portion of the mall featured stores such as Magic Mushroom, Tyler's Country Clothes, People's Drug Store, Fashion Bug, Record and Tape Collectors and an arcade. A marijuana patch was found behind the mall in 1990.[3]
